1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Class Budiies platform ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Class Budiies is a school management and education support platform designed for South African schools. The Platform provides tools for managing learner records, marks, homework, school applications, and communication between schools, teachers, parents, and learners.

3. User Accounts
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account per role without prior authorization from a school administrator or platform administrator.
4. User Roles and Responsibilities

The Platform supports multiple user roles, each with specific responsibilities:

  • Super Administrators manage the overall platform and approve school registrations.
  • School Administrators manage their school's data, staff, classes, and learner applications.
  • Teachers record marks, manage homework, and communicate with parents and learners.
  • Parents view their children's progress, submit school applications, and communicate with teachers.
  • Learners access their marks, homework, and achievements.
5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Upload false, misleading, or inaccurate information.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation.
  • Share your account credentials with any other person.
6. Data and Content
  • Schools and their administrators are responsible for the accuracy of the data they enter into the Platform.
  • Academic records, marks, and learner information entered into the Platform remain the property of the respective school.
  • We do not claim ownership of any content uploaded by users.
7. Protection of Personal Information (POPIA)

We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Availability and Modifications
  • We strive to keep the Platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time.
  • We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Schools may request export of their data prior to account termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
